Woodwardville Preservation Society, Inc.

The Historic town of Woodwardville, in Odenton Maryland, was founded in the 1870's, and is situated along Patuxent Road in Western Anne Arundel County. Just to the west is the National Wildlife Refuge and to the east is the Little Patuxent River. The bustling businesses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries are long gone. Many of the homes remain today thanks to those that have found it well worth the time and hard work to maintain and restore the Historic homes. In 2003, after a lengthy process and much research by community members, Woodwardville was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
